Joan Peris

Joan Peris is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, where he has lived and worked for over 25 years. His practice spans painting, photography, digital art, and sculpture, with a strong focus on material experimentation and the fusion of techniques.

Originally trained in graphic design, photography, and ceramics, Peris developed a deep understanding of form and materials. He worked for over a decade as a ceramic designer, an experience that continues to influence the textured, layered quality of his work.

Since the mid-1990s, painting has been central to his artistic practice. His work has been exhibited in galleries and international art fairs, gaining recognition both in Spain and abroad. In the early 2000s, he expanded into digital art, combining photography and painting to create compositions that balance realism and abstraction.

Today, Peris collaborates with galleries across Spain and internationally, including Belgium and the Netherlands. His work continues to evolve through an ongoing exploration of materials, texture, and mixed media.
