Magdalena Laskowska

Magdalena Laskowska (b. 1985, Warsaw) creates atmospheric paintings of carefully composed landscapes, poolside environments and everyday spaces. Her distinctive scenes combine luminous colour, precise geometry and a striking sense of stillness. Empty pools, deck chairs, beach balls and expansive skies evoke an idealised world of leisure, while the absence of people introduces a subtle sense of solitude and contemplation.

Balancing observation with imagination, Laskowska transforms familiar environments into polished, almost dreamlike compositions. Her work recalls the clarity and light of California imagery while retaining a distinctly quiet and introspective character.

Laskowska studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating with distinction in 2011. Her work has been exhibited in Poland and internationally and presented at numerous art fairs.
