With more than 15 years of professional experience in photography, the artist has continually existed within a world of image creation and appreciation. Paul Raats has a deep understanding of light, color, portraiture and having skills in digital tools,
retouching techniques over the years.

In his artistic journey, material quality, print excellence, and the overall uniqueness of each piece hold paramount importance. Artworks by the artist typically consist of up to eight pieces, with some being true one-of-a-kind creations. A resin finish is often employed to enhance the final appearance. To authenticate his creations, the artist meticulously produces certificates, thoroughly documents each piece, and affixes Hahnemuller holograms on both the artwork and the certificates.

In his artistic variety, the artist explores an array of materials, including checker plates, raised grain plates, designer wallpapers (such as Philip Plein or Roberto Cavelli), metallic plates, and OSB wood. The artist’s designs are entirely digital, drawing inspiration from his life experiences, extensive travels spanning 52 countries, and his own photographic portfolio accumulated over the years.
