Valenty Wróblewski

Walenty Wróblewski was born in 1954 in Bielsk Podlaski, Poland. Graduating from The National School Of Arts in Suprasl, he went on to study at the Institute of Art Education at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, before obtaining his painting diploma and Masters Degree in 1978 at the studio of Andrzej Kolodziejek. He received further artistic training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, in the painting studio of Professor Kazimierz Ostrowski. In 1983, Walenty Wróblewski was invited to return to Maria Curie-Sklodowska University to become a Professor of the Faculty of the Arts. In 2004, he was made Rector.
