Almagul Melinbayeva

Almagul Menlibayeva, contemporary video artist and photographer, was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and lives and works in Kazakhstan and Berlin, holds an MFA from the Art & Theatre University of Almaty.

She has gained international recognition by participating in the 15th, 18 th Sydney Biennale; 51st, 52nd, 53 th and 56th Venice Biennale; the Sharjah Biennial 10; the 4th and 6th Moscow Biennale; the1st Kiev Biennial, Ukraine; the 15th and 18th Sydney Biennale 2012, Australia; 2nd Mediterranean Biennale, Sachnin, Israel; Daegu Photo Biennale 2016
